wardbody, a black- and queer-owned active lifestyle brand, tasked me with redesigning some of their social media assets to match their new minimal and contemporary creative direction, and to aid in telling the story of their brand. I sourced images, created engaging type treatments & layouts, and worked with existing copy to fulfill wardbody’s requests.
Drawing from wardbody’s design philosophy of promoting a sense of comfort, balance, and a connectedness to the world around us, I was reminded of stone stacks I sometimes see at rocky beaches. I then created ‘stones’ out of sourced images that reflect wardbody’s appreciation for the natural world and the human form.
One of the main requests from wardbody was to create contemporary and engaging pieces of typography and interesting layout formats. I ended up implementing two different layout formats to create more variety on their Instagram feed. Layout 1 can be seen above, and layout 2 can be seen below.
